In order to address the acute housing constraints within Dhaka City, the National Housing Authority (NHA) has launched another scheme for development of housing project for low-income group (LIG) and middle-income group (MIG) of people at Duaripara, Mirpur, Dhaka at Mirpur Section no-8, on its own acquired land. In this project, 33 nos of 14 storied buildings (10 nos. 1545sft, 7nos. 1338sft, 5nos. 1215sft and 12nos. 878 sft sized flat) have been proposed to be constructed on the proposed land. In this project, mosque, community hall and other non-core housing infrastructure will also be developed for public facility.
