To solve the housing accommodation problem in Dhaka and Chittagong city, particularly for middle-income people, the government needs to take the major initiatives to arrange serviced land, easy & Hassel-free loan and to build collaborative partnership with the private developers to construct apartments to serve the middle-income group of Dhaka and Chittagong. It is evident that due to extremely high land price it is quite implausible and hard-pressed for private sectors to meet the vast housing requirements of Dhaka and Chittagong city dwellers.
